Photo – Woodware

Taken during a visit to a handy-craft shop in Bali. These are quite expensive, made from high quality wood (unfortunately, yours truly cannot recall which type of wood) - a few hundred $US if I'm not mistaken.

Photo – Trader in Bali

Image taken a while back in Bali. Bali's economy is heavily dependent on tourism. Stalls like this, selling tour packages are not uncommon.

The must-visit hawker food heaven – Lorong Selamat along Macalister Road, Penang
Absolutely delicious hawker food available here. Dishes consumed (apologies for butchering the name of the foods in English):
- Siam Laksa
- Fried Koey Teow
- Popiah
- Rojak
- Gado-gado
- Java Mee
- Otak-otak (despite its name, this is actually fish steamed with spices)
- Chee Cheong Fan
I bet I gained a kilogram or two after the visit.
