D700 – The Ideal Camera

God damn Friday mood affected me and I just had to go read camera stuff. This led me to a post in LowYat.net showing off the D3's high ISO performance which then led me to crave for a full-frame DSLR. I thought, what the heck, I'll go check out a couple of reviews of the D700 - Nikon's 'affordable' (*cough* 10 000 ringgit *cough*) FX digital SLR. I'm now contemplating whether I should go rob a bank or something to afford one. My God is the high ISO (ISO1600 - 3200) very usable. At ISO3200 where noise is visible, I'm actually seeing my D40's ISO800 images. And its ISO25600 (not a typo) essentially looks like the D40's ISO3200.
