My Blog’s Back!
Some of you have been asking about the down time of this blog. Reason is simple - my domain expired. Curiously, my hosting provider did not warn me about this. I was expecting an email reminding me to renew but for some reason, nothing happened. In fact, I only found out about this after contacting Smartteam's Customer Support. Regardless to say, I am rather displeased with how this thing was handled. The saving grace was that they held on to the domain even after expiry (or perhaps no one pounced on it) because I would blow a fuse if I lost this domain. I previously parked my blog at www.ebernie.net which was unfortunately lost to cybersquatters after it expired.
Lesson learned - enter domain expiry date on my Palm's calendar and have it repeat annually with an advanced reminder of two weeks.
