15 Minutes With An iPhone
And a great deal of it was with its on-screen keypad. It’s so hard to type it’s not funny. I wonder if it gets better over time. I did notice that if I hit exactly above the keys, it works better. Easier said than done though. The good news is, the error rate seems to go down a bit when using the keypad in landscape mode because of the extra space between the virtual keys. Too bad there’s only a landscape keypad in Safari.
I’ve read somewhere that hardware keypads are going the way to the dodo, but I digress. It’s still faster, it provides tactile feedback and it allows typing without needing to bloody look at the keypad.

to tell u the truth cuz, i nearly bought a 16gb iPhone….called it off at the last minute cos:
1) the freaking thing can’t even bluetooth data to any hp ( diff platforms i guess )
2) etc,etc,etc
not withstanding no.2, no.1 was enuff to put me off …until they solve the communication problem…
btw, let me know if you want one cuz, I can get it quite cheap for you…pre loaded with whatever software that you want and hacked…comes with warranty as well
I heard about the BT issue as well. Forgot to write about it
Thanks for the offer. But I’ll pass though. I can’t live with the keypad and the lack of proper Bluetooth. One thing (the only thing?) it’s got going for it is the browser. Well that and the huge screen maybe.
the browser is not that fast as the hype suggest….quite slow as compared to my Viewty of MotoRazV3xx..
Must admit that some of the programs are damn cool…
