My ex-colleague and friend from Firium has recently started blogging. We share a few interest - namely the love for manga and Java programming. Because of some serious brain-washing, he’s acquired a DSLR and went on a shooting spree at Singapore Airshow 2008. Equipped with a D40x, a 18-55mm kit lens and a 55-200mm VR lens, he took some pretty cool shots of the air-show. Not an easy thing considering the lack of focus-points on the D40/x.

Still a SAP n00b, I often find myself confused or ignorant of the types of programs that can be written. This article from SDN helped a lot.

There’s an online petition going on, started by friends of the late Lee Nian Ning and two others who perished in the January 25th crash. I use express buses frequently and every time I do so, I console myself that statistically, buses are safer compared to passenger cars. But I guess you can only turn a blind eye so long. It is really sad that such a brilliant young Malaysian was lost due to the recklessness of a driver with 13 summonses, the department that chose not to stop the guy from driving and the bus company that chose to hire him.
As of this post, there’s over 5000 signatures collected. I’m hoping it would reach tens of thousands if not more.
Please sign: Bus Crash No More (direct link to petition). Read it from Screenshots and The Star.
