Saw a post in Lowyat.NET where someone is clearing old stocks of Palm SD WiFi cards. It’s really quite a bargain price but beware that the cards only works in the Zire 72, Tungsten T5, TE2 and T3 Palm PDAs. Nope, no Treo support, neither the Palm OS nor the WM models.
Guess that’s why they’re on clearance sale. But if you so happen to have any of those Palm PDAs around, these are quite a good buy. So go grab em’ while they’re hot.

Thanks for the heads-up Bernie!
I’m using my E61 for most online tasks like e-mails, surfing, remote server access… am wondering what I can do with a Wifi Card on a T3 now…hehe
I still use my T3 to take notes @ meetings, appts, etc… just wondering what apps I can use to fullly utilize it with a wi-fi card.
Thanks again Bernie.
Andrew
No problem Andrew. I hope you manage to snag one for yourself. Still using a T3 eh? Nothing beats the ease and speed of Palm OS right?
Hi Bernie,
I called Tony. Will be going sometime this week to pick 1 or 2 up…haha. I have 2 T3’s. Bought a 2nd hand one for RM 300 2 mths ago.
My old T3 still works but have been unable to recalibrate the stylus accuracy on it.
Yup, still using the T3 as a dedicated PDA device. True abt. the ease & speed of the Palm OS. I’m also constantly looking for value for money gadgets.
Hi there Bernie,
Just a quick update to let you know that I picked up a PalmOne SD Wifi card today. Been going online w/ the Tungsten T3. Not bad. But I think I still prefer the browser stability of the E61 compared to the Web Pro browser. It kept crashing on me.
I messed around with Versa Mail for a while but kinda gave up after a while ‘cos my E61’s already configured to auto-retrieve e-mails every 30 mins.
Overall, I’m happy to have Wifi on my T3. Now, I’ve just gotta figure out what else I can do with it…hehe. ;p
Cheers!
Andrew
p.s. RM 50 is pretty great value for money!
